SECTION 002000 – NOTICE TO BIDDERS
A. East Aurora School District (hereinafter referred to as the Owner) will receive bids for the
following project until 10:30 A.M., local time, on November 20, 2025, at the District Office
of East Aurora School District #131, 310 Seminary Avenue, Aurora, IL 60505:
Project #251059 – EASD 2026 Tuck Pointing Projects at Bardwell Elementary School,
Brady Elementary School and the Fred Rodgers Magnet Academy
B. Bids will be publicly opened and read at the time and location noted above.
C. A public advertisement was posted on October 31, 2025
D. Contract Documents may be obtained by Bidding Contractors from ADC Technologies /
Vesco Reprographics, 630-896-2115, or thru Cordogan Clark & Associate’s online plan room
www.cordoganclarkplanroom.com on or after on or after November 4, 2025.
E. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of Bid Bond in the amount of
10% of the Base Bid (plus additive alternates) made payable to the Owner.
F. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams on November 7,
2025, at 11:00 a.m. See Section 002513 "Prebid Meetings" for meeting information.
G. Pre-bid walkthroughs will be held by appointment, between the dates of November 11-14, 2025.

I. All bidders are required to visit the site. All contractors shall visit the site and become
familiar with all existing conditions prior to submitting the final bid. If there are any
discrepancies, notify the architect at once. The project site is available for inspection by
appointment only after the mandatory pre-bid meeting.
J. The Contractor shall pay, if applicable, not less than the prevailing rate of wages as
established, to all laborers, workmen and mechanics in the performance of Work under this
Contract in accordance with “An Act regulating wages of laborers, mechanics and other
employed under contracts of Public Works.” 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.
K. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids, to waive any informality in bidding, or accept
the bid that, in his opinion, will serve his best interests.
