SECTION 002000 – NOTICE TO BIDDERS
A. Evanston/Skokie SD 65 (hereinafter referred to as the Owner) will receive multiple prime contract bids for the following project until 2:00 p.m. November 18, 2025, either in person at:

B. Project Description:
• Bid Package #20 – Fencing
• Bid Package #21 – Site Demo, Excavation, & Aggregates
• Bid Package #22 – Foundations, Asphalt, Sidewalks, C&G
• Bid Package #23 – Misc. Metals
C. Bids will be publicly opened and read at the time noted above. Opening will also occur online via Microsoft Team at the following link:
D. Bid Package documents, drawings, and specifications shall be available on or after July 9, 2025. Bidders may visit the following websites to obtain the bid documents. Printing and shipping costs shall be the responsibility of the bidder:

E. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid (plus additive alternates) made payable to the Owner.

Bidders are highly encouraged to attend the meeting.

G. The Contractor shall pay, if applicable, not less than the prevailing rate of wages as established, to all laborers, workmen and mechanics in the performance of Work under this Contract in accordance with “An Act regulating wages of laborers, mechanics and other employed under contracts of Public Works.” 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.
H. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding, and to accept the bid that is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, which is in the best interests of the district.
I. This Notice is written in the name of the Owner by Cordogan Clark & Associates.
