A. Sustainability Partners, LLC for East Aurora School District (Owner) will receive
Design/Build bids for the following project at the District Office of East Aurora School
District #131, 417 S. Fifth Street, Aurora, IL 60506:
Project #18420 – East Aurora Mechanical Improvements
February 19, 2019 – Before 2:00 P.M.

B. Bids will be publicly opened and read at the time and location noted above.

C. A public advertisement was posted on January 11, 2019.

D. Contract Documents may be obtained by Bidding Contractors from the Office of the
Construction Manager – Cordogan Clark & Associates, Inc., 630-896-4678 or
sdralle@cordoganclark.com, on or after, January 28, 2019. Bidders may also contact Vesco
Reprographics, 630-896-2115, to purchase the bid documents. The bid documents will be
posted on www.cordoganclarkplanroom.com website.

E. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of Bid Bond in the amount of
10% of the Base Bid (plus additive alternates) made payable to the Owner.

F. A Mandatory pre-bid conference was held at Bardwell Elementary School, 550 South Lincoln
Ave., Aurora, IL 60505 on January 16, 2019 at 3:30 PM. Only those contractors in
attendance at that time are eligible to bid. (list was included in previous addendum

G. All bidders are required to visit the sites. The project sites are available for inspection on a
limited basis after the mandatory pre-bid meeting.

H. The Contractor shall pay, if applicable, not less than the prevailing rate of wages as
established, to all laborers, workmen and mechanics in the performance of Work under this
Contract in accordance with β€œAn Act regulating wages of laborers, mechanics and other
employed under contracts of Public Works.” 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.

I. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in bidding,
or accept the bid that, in his opinion, will serve his best interests.

J. This Notice is written in the name of the Owner by Cordogan, Clark & Associates.
