NOTICE TO BIDDERS
A. East Aurora School District (hereinafter referred to as the Owner) will receive bids for the
following Projects until 1:00 P.M., local time, on November 25, 2019 at 417 Fifth Street,
Aurora, IL 60505.
Project – EASD 2020 Mechanical Improvements Bid Group #2
Base Bid to include all of the following projects:
19345 – Bardwell Mechanical Improvements
19344 – Brady Mechanical Improvements
19335 – Beaupre Mechanical Improvements
19336 – Oak Park Mechanical Improvements
19337 – Gates Mechanical Improvements
B. Bids will be publicly opened and read at the time and location noted above.
C. Bid Package documents, drawings, and specifications may be obtained electronically by
Bidding Contractors from the Office of the Construction Manager – Cordogan Clark &
Associates, Inc., 630-896-4678 or email@example.com, on or after, November 11, 2019. Bidders may also contact Vesco Reprographics, 630-896-2115, to obtain the bid
D. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the following specified location on
Bid Group #2 – 2020 Mechanical Improvements
Meeting Date & Time: 3:00 pm, November 14, 2019
Location: McKnight School Service Center, 417 Fifth Street. Aurora, IL 60505
E. All Contractors are required to visit all of the sites and shall become familiar with all existing
conditions prior to submitting the final Proposal. If there are any discrepancies, notify CCA at
once. The project sites are available for inspection on a limited basis after the mandatory prebid
meeting. For site access, contact Mark Spangler 630.746.7210.
F. Contractor shall pay, if applicable, not less than the prevailing rate of wages as established, to
all laborers, workmen and mechanics in the performance of Work under this Contract in
accordance with “An Act regulating wages of laborers, mechanics and other employed under
contracts of Public Works.” 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.
G. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals, to waive any informality in a
Proposal, or accept the Proposal that, in his opinion, will serve his best interests.
H. This Notice is written in the name of the Owner by Cordogan, Clark & Associates.
