21380 - Sugar Grove Public Library Now Space

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sugar Grove Public Library (hereinafter referred to as the Owner) will receive bids for the following project until 2:00 PM, local time, on November 12, 2021 at the Cordogan Clark office, 960 Ridgeway Ave., Third Floor, Aurora, IL 60506.

Project #21380 – SUGAR GROVE PUBLIC LIBRARY – NOW SPACE

B. Bids will be publicly opened and read at 2:15 PM, at the location noted above.

C. Contract Documents may be obtained by Bidding Contractors from Cordogan Clark
& Associates, Inc., on their online plan room www.cordoganclarkplanroom.com on or after,
November 1, 2021. Bidders may also contact Vesco Reprographics, Inc., www.vescorepro.com 1351 Aucutt Road, Montgomery, IL 60538, 630-896-2115, to obtain the bid documents.

D. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Base Bid (plus additive alternates) made payable to the Owner.

E. A pre-bid meeting will be on November 4, 2021 at 10:00 am at the project site, 125 S. Municipal Drive, Sugar Grove, IL 60554. See specifications section 002513 Prebid Meetings for further information. Bidders are highly encouraged to attend the meeting.

F. The Contractor shall pay, if applicable, not less than the prevailing rate of wages as established, to all laborers, workmen and mechanics in the performance of Work under this Contract in accordance with “An Act regulating wages of laborers, mechanics and other employed under
contracts of Public Works.” 820 ILCS 130/1 et seq.

G. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding, and to accept the bid that is the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, which is in the best interests of the Sugar Grove Public Library.

H. This Notice is written in the name of the Owner by Cordogan, Clark & Associates.
